Crockpot Mississippi Pot Roast with Potatoes, Carrots and Onions

Ingredients
1 chuck roast about 2.5-3 pounds
1 1/2 cup low sodium beef broth or no salt stock
1 packet (1 oz) au jus gravy mix
1 packet (1 oz) dry ranch dressing
1 lb petite potatoes washed (or larger potatoes quartered)
1 lb baby carrots (or larger carrots chopped)
6 pepperoncinis
1 stick (8 tablespoons)unsalted butter
Directions
Pre heat a large skillet
Brown roast on both sides
Mix together the au jus, ranch dressing and beef broth
Add potatoes, carrots and onion to crockpot
Add roast to crockpot
Cover with the broth mixture
Cook on low 8 hours until roast is pull apart tender
