Ingredients:
¾ cup creamy peanut butter
½ cup shortening
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
1 egg
3 Tablespoons milk, room temp.
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
Granulated sugar for rolling cookies

Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
Beat peanut butter and shortening in large bowl with electric mixer until well mixed. Add 1/3 cup granulated sugar and brown sugar; beat well. Add egg, milk and vanilla; beat until fluffy. Stir together four, baking soda and salt; gradually add to peanut butter mixture, beating until blended. Shape into 1” balls. Roll in granulated sugar; place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 10 minutes or until set. Immediately press in Kiss into center of each cookie. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely.
