Setting A Beach Theme Table On A Dollar Tree Budget

Did you know that you can set a beautiful table using dishes and decorative items from the Dollar Tree? This year Dollar Tree has so many beautiful beach theme items including dishes so I knew I had to get the dishes and a few other beach theme items to show you that you do not need to spend a lot of money to have a beautiful table setting.

Items I Used:

• Beach themed plastic dinner plates (Dollar Tree)
• Plastic shell shaped salad plates (Dollar Tree)
• Blue plastic glasses (Dollar Tree)
• Starfish napkins rings (made from Dollar Tree materials)
• Fabric beach themed napkins
• Rattan placemats (Home Goods)
• Flowers & vase (Dollar Tree)
• Starfish and rope tea light holders (Dollar Tree)

Setting A Beach Themed Table Setting

The first item you want to place on the table is your placemats. I choose to use a rattan placemats that I purchased at Home Goods I felt they brought a beach feel but you can use any placemats that you feel will give the place setting a beach feel. Next place a dinner plate on each placemat then the shell shaped salad plate on top of each dinner plate.

The napkin rings I made using shower curtain rings, natural jute cord, and starfish all from the Dollar Tree.  You can find my blog on how I made them on my web sight.  Place your napkins into your napkin rings then place one in the center of each salad plate. I used pretty creamy white with tan shells napkins which I purchased at Home Goods. I purchased these beautiful blue plastic glasses in the with the beach theme items at the Dollar Tree.  Place a drinking glass at the top right of charger or placemat.

The last thing to place on your table setting is your centerpiece.  I used a straw placemat in the center of the table with a Dollar Tree vase that I redid into a beach theme (If you go to my Facebook page you can find the video on how I made this vase using a straw hat from the Dollar Tree) filled with blue and white flowers also from the Dollar Tree.  The last thing I added to my centerpiece are two ceramic starfish and two ceramic rope tea light holders, both from the Dollar Tree.  I did give the starfish and tea light holders a transformation to go with my table setting, if you would like to see how I transformed them you can find the blog on my web sight.
